Trick-or-Treater (Rat)
When scoring, this is worth 2 VP if it is in your Sway.
When you reveal this from anywhere, you must choose to either give it a “treat” and pay 2 Candy to put this into your Sway, or to suffer its “trick” and choose any one card from the Trash and then put that card into any rival’s Garage.
If there are no cards in the Trash, the “trick” action does nothing.
You always choose the card from the Trash – not your rival – and you may choose any card from the Trash.
If you have multiple rivals, you choose which rival’s Garage the card is put into.
The rival owns the card put into their Garage, just like if they had bought the card from the Store.
The Trash marker is not a card.
If you cannot (or choose not to) “treat,” you must do the “trick.”
You cannot choose “treat” if you do not have enough Candy to pay its sway cost.
You may decline to “treat” and opt to do the “trick,” even if you have enough Candy to pay its sway cost.
After you complete the “trick” action, put this onto the bottom of the Store Deck.
This card is both an Event and a Neighbor, so cards that affect/count either Events or Neighbors both affect/count this.
