Mortimer
  • In order to sway this, at least 3 cards must have been trashed during the current turn.

  • The cards may have been trashed from anywhere and for any reason.

  • The cards don’t need to have been trashed all at once.

  • You do not need to be the player who trashed the cards.

  • Don’t count cards trashed across multiple turns (e.g., if your rival trashed 2 cards during their turn, and then, on your turn, you trash 1 card, you cannot sway Mortimer as only 1 card was trashed during the current turn.)

  • Example: It’s your turn, and you stay Home. You play Toolbox from your hand, allowing you to play 2 additional cards. You play Rake, trashing 1 card from the Store. You play Termite Colony onto a rival’s Yard, causing them to trash 2 cards. You can now sway Mortimer because 3 cards have been trashed this turn.

  • Example: It’s your turn. You have Mandrake Root in your Yard. You decide to use Mandrake Root’s Start (yellow sun) action to trash 5 cards from the Store. You go Home and sway Mortimer.

  • Example: It’s your turn. You trash three Tool cards from your Garage to sway Darcy. You cannot sway Mortimer, because you have already swayed a Neighbor this turn.

  • When scoring, Mortimer is worth 5 VP if it's in your Sway.

  • Mortimer is a foil promo card and is not included in the regular Turf War: Trick-or-Treat expansion set.
