All summer long, we've been giving away totally extreme back issues to lucky subscribers who help us pick origin stories for our characters. Here's the winning origin story for Longcoat:
Luke Reeves was a disillusioned slacker, drifting through life with a love for grunge music and slam poetry. After witnessing corporate greed destroy his neighborhood, he took up the mantle of Longcoat, a legendary vigilante who channels his cynicism into fighting the system and protecting the underdog.
