Foreboding Gate

• If Foreboding Gate is in your Yard when you reveal an Event card from anywhere, you may skip playing the Event card and put it back onto the bottom of its deck.

• For example, if you are restocking the Store while Foreboding Gate is in your Yard and you reveal Recycling Day from the Store Deck while restocking, you may choose not to shuffle the Store and Trash into the Store Deck, and instead just put Recycling Day onto the bottom of the Store Deck and continue restocking.

• Trick-or-Treaters are Events, so, when you reveal one with Foreboding Gate in your Yard, you may decline to sway the Trick-or-Treater and decline to do its “trick” action, simply putting it on the bottom of the Store Deck.

• You do not have to ignore the Event that you reveal: You may choose to play the Event. Foreboding Gate doesn’t prevent you from playing Events.
