Announcing: The Homegrown Games Market

Indie game night markets are relaxed, pop-up-style events where independent tabletop designers can showcase and sell their work directly to players. Inspired by the Tokyo Game Market, these events highlight interesting and experimental ideas — games that may not have mainstream appeal but deserve to be played. And now, these markets are popping up all over the country.

The Homegrown Games Market is an opportunity for Texas board and card game creators to sell directly to players and connect with a community that values experimentation over polish. While some games gain traction and go on to be published, the goal here is simpler: share your work, get it played, and be part of a vibrant indie scene.

We’re looking for creators with games that are self-published, handcrafted, or otherwise unavailable through traditional channels. That means no crowdfunding, no mass distribution, and no publisher deals required—just your unique vision and a small production run (typically 20–100 copies).

More details about the event to be announced soon!
